About the Founder

Sneha Poojary turned vegan in 2009 after years of rescuing, vaccinating, and caring for street animals. Her realization of the contradiction in feeding meat to pets while advocating for animal rights led to the creation of Aistra in 2015 along with her partner Vasantha Rayalu—India’s first and only vegan pet food store. Passionate about extending compassion to all animals, she continues to lead MyAistra.com as a growing platform for ethical, plant-based pet care and conscious living.
